General

Sprintshield PROALERT is a speed alert system that warns you about upcoming speed cameras, red light and speed cameras, red light cameras, mobile zones, and section controls. Sprintshield PROALERT also warns you of manually added My Alerts points of interest (POI).

Sprintshield PROALERT comes with a free 1-year subscription to the LTE 4G mobile network connectivity and preloaded safety camera database by Cyclops, the global leader in accurate and up-to-date safety camera data.

Sprintshield PROALERT comes with a preloaded safety camera database by Cyclops, the global leader in accurate and up-to-date safety camera data. Cyclops regularly maintains and updates the database. Your Sprintshield PROALERT is automatically updated via LTE the 4G connection.

Yes, but we strongly advise that you ask for professional help from an auto electrician before hardwiring the device.

Sprintshield PROALERT subscription provides coverage for the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden, as well as other European countries: Andorra, Iceland, Monaco, Norway, and San Marino.

Before buying or using Sprintshield PROALERT in these countries or elsewhere, we strongly advise you to check the local traffic laws of an area or a country, in which you want to use the system. Sprintshield accepts no liability in cases of violations of or changes in the local traffic laws. It is your responsibility to check and comply with the local traffic laws.

You can renew the Sprintshield PROALERT subscription by buying a prepaid card in our webshop or buying the subscription plan directly through Sprintshield Dashboard.

The SPRINTSHIELD SUBSCRIPTION Prepaid Card* is delivered to your shipping address and contains an activation code. You need to enter the Settings of your Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet and choose the Renew Subscription option to enter the activation code and renew the subscription.

If you want to renew the SPRINTSHIELD SUBSCRIPTION Prepaid Plan online, you will need to open a Sprintshield Dashboard account and add your Sprintshield PROALERT by entering its serial number. Once you have added your Sprintshield PROALERT, you can renew the subscription by clicking the Renew button.

*The service of subscription renewal through SPRINTSHIELD SUBSCRIPTION Prepaid Card will be available in 2024.

At the moment we only provide SPRINTSHIELD SUBSCRIPTION Prepaid Plan renewal through Sprintshield Dashboard.

Sprintshield PROALERT serial number is an identification number, which we use to keep track of your subscription plans and notify you on time about a subscription expiry. The serial number is the only identification number we use and store on our IOT platform to manage your data and software updates of your Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet. Serial number is not stored online and it is not connected with any of your personal data.

The serial number is only stored on www.sprintshiled.com  if you want to register your device on Sprintshield Dashboard for online subscription renewal. Personal data are processed by the SPRINTSHILELD Privacy Statement.

The PIN is needed if you want to register your device on Sprintshield Dashboard or/and reboot your Tablet from STEALTH mode.

Please, take good care of your NFC PIN Card and keep it safe.

Technical

Sprintshield PROALERT will automatically download the database updates periodically via the LTE 4G connection. There is no need for any manual intervention for data updates. Data updates are maintained by Cyclops, the global leader in accurate and up-to-date safety camera data.

Sprintshield PROALERT will automatically download Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates when available. Upon its next launch, expect to wait several minutes as the device automatically installs the software update. Once the update is installed, the device will return to its normal mode. These software updates can also include free feature updates, enhancing the device’s functionality without any additional cost.

The operating ambient temperature for Sprintshield PROALERT ranges between -20° C to 55° C (-4 F to 131 F), while the optimal storage temperature is between 0° C to 25° C (32 F to 77 F). The short term non-operating temperature of the device is set between -30° C to 80° C (-22 F to 176 F). Relative humidity ranges between 0% and 90% noncondensing.

Lower or higher temperatures may change the behavior of the device.

Caution! Using Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet as a standalone device during extremely hot temperatures may drain the battery faster, overheat, and/or damage the device. In extremely cold temperatures, the device might malfunction or not work due to the electrons in the electrolyte fluid in the battery being unable to produce enough current.

We suggest cleaning your Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet regularly with a dry microfiber cleaning cloth as soon as you notice signs of dirt, dust, and stains.

Enter the Settings on Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet. Choose the Factory Reset option. This process takes some time and may ask for confirmations along the way.

Privacy & Security

Yes. You can read our Privacy Statement to learn what kind of data Sprintshield collects, for what purposes, for how long, and other important information on privacy.

No. Sprintshield will never track your location through Sprintshield PROALERT Tablet, nor will we collect or share any data from your tablet to our servers, unless you explicitly opt-in to get access to some of the Sprintshield PROALERT features such as web Dashboard.

Sprintshield Dashboard will enable you to change your tablet settings, transfer data between multiple Sprintshield PROALERT tablets, and renew your Subscription Plan online.

Your personal identity will at the same time remain anonymous to us and other drivers at all times, regardless of using the Dashboard.

You can use all the other Sprintshield PROALERT features without ever sharing data from your device with us or someone else.

Sprintshield Dashboard

You can change your tablet settings, transfer data between multiple Sprintshield PROALERT devices, or renew your subscription online through the internet browser by registering on Sprintshield Dashboard.

You can create an account on Sprintshield Dashboard with an e-mail address and a password. Additionally, you can add and manage your tablets by entering their serial number and PIN to enable data sync and other features.

No. You do not need to register on or use the Sprintshield Dashboard to use the Sprintshield PROALERT system. However, Sprintshield Dashboard will grant you access to several additional ease-of-use features, not possible on the tablet, such as transferring data between several Sprintshield PROALERT tablets or buying and renewing Subscription Plans online.

My Alerts

You can manually add and store custom points of interest (POI) on your Sprintshield PROALERT through the My Alerts feature.

You can delete your personal points of interest (POI) in the Settings, by choosing to restore the device to the factory state.

Yes, the Sprintshield PROALERT complies with international and European Union regulations. It is designed and manufactured in Europe, in an ISO 9001 certified factory, and has the following certificates: CE, FCC, BT, MSDS, PI965_967, Un38, reach, RoHS, UL1642, UL62133, EN62368, Vibro IEC 600068.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders will be shipped from Sprintshield within 3 working days from the date of order, provided that the payment has been authorized and the delivery address has been confirmed. You will receive an e-mail informing you of the date of dispatch of your order.

The delivery will be made through DHL Express, the leading global delivery service, and will be made to the doorstep by the courier. You will receive a tracking number for the order.

Please keep in mind that delivery delays can happen on account of various factors, such as weather incidents, customs, holidays, or backlogs.

Delivery is included in the price for European Union (EU) countries and bears no extra fees. If you place an order with the United Kingdom (UK) address, the shipping cost will be included in the price for deliveries but you will have to pay for VAT charges, import duties, and customs duties.

We ship every order through a courier service. You will receive a tracking number for the order. Your order will be made to the doorstep.

Please, check your tracking number provided by a courier service, and contact them if any further issues arise.

Returns and Refunds

Yes. You can return the product, without giving us any reason for that decision, but you need to notify us of the return within 30 days from receiving the delivery of said product by sending us a written request for the return of the product.

If you want to return the product, in the written statement you need to state your name and surname, address, phone number, or e-mail address.

You then need to return the product to us within 14 days of sending us a written request for the return of the product. You will have to cover all the shipping and delivery costs of the product return and will be responsible for the product and the product handling until it reaches Sprintshield d.o.o.

Sprintshield claims no liability in case of damaged or lost delivery. Your product is your responsibility until it reaches the Sprintshield d.o.o.

You can get a full refund for a returned product if the said product is delivered back to us within 14 days of sending your written request for the return of the product, and if the product is returned undamaged with all original packaging.

If the product is not returned in full or has been damaged, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount.

You will get a refund on your credit or debit card within 14 days of reclaiming the product.

Repairs and Service

Sprintshield offers a Limited Warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase worldwide. You can verify whether your product is eligible for repair under warranty by reading our Warranty Statement.

Sprintshield will cover the cost of shipping if the device is under Limited Warranty. You can verify whether your product is eligible for repair under warranty by reading our Warranty Statement.

Warranty

Sprintshield PROALERT warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase worldwide.

Within this period, Sprintshield will, at its sole option, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. Such repairs or replacements will be made at no charge to the customer for parts or labor.

Repairs have a 90-day warranty. If the unit sent for repair is still under its original warranty, then the new warranty is valid 90 days from repair or until the end of the original 2-year warranty, depending upon which is longer.
